Controlled Environment Chamber Lab
  • Environmental parameters for all CECs include:
    • Temperature, relative humidity, photoperiod, spectral quality (HID, fluorescent, LEDs), and [CO2] <= 30,000 ppm (currently untested)
  • >462 ft2 of total CEC space (15 chambers)
    • Dual lamp canopies with fluorescent and HID fixtures
    • Dimmable fluorescent and HID fixtures
  • Portable incubators
  • CEC computer control and monitoring system
    • Command, Monitoring, and Data System (CMDS)
    • Separate (backup) monitoring and control system (EGC)
    • CMDS and Database servers
    • Alarming capabilities
